| 2 | For import of jute/kenaf/mesta as notified crop seeds and notified variety seeds, the required criteria for germination rate, purity rate, seed moisture, and other related factors or characteristics of seeds of any crop or variety are to conform to the standard mentioned in clause (a) of Sec. 10 of Seed Act, 2018; such crop or variety is to be registered by the National Seed Board; such seeds are to be identifiable as to its crop or variety; the seed container is to be sealed and the standard label or mark specified under clause (b) of Sec. 10 is to be attached thereon; such seeds are to comply with the terms and conditions of the Registration Certificate. |
